Lose Weight Super Fast with Interval Training

Interval training is the quickest way to get fit and blast fat fast.

1. Run-Walk-Run. By walking for a minute, then running for 45 seconds, then walking for a minute, you are going to be constantly changing it up for your muscle memory. You will need to keep a brisk pace while you are doing the walking portions, and you will want to be sprinting as fast as you can for the running portions. A great place to do this activity is at a track or running park, or you can do it anywhere as long as you have a watch. Do short amounts of time when you first being.

2. Run-Bike-Run. This is how tri athletes train for upcoming races, and it you will want to be in decent shape before you attempt this. If you live on a block where you can come back to the same spot or a track or running park, this will be good. Jog for about 10 minutes and then get on the bike and push hard for 10, and then get off and run again. Or you can do the opposite and bike hard for about 20 minutes and then get off and jog for 10. You change what muscles you are using and it can take a minute to adjust from cycling to running so be careful when attempting this in the beginning.

3. Jump Rope-Run-Jump Rope. Start by jumping rope for about 10 minutes and then take off for a 15 -20 minute jog. When you return from the jog pick up your jump rope and begin again. Jumping rope works a lot of different muscle groups, so be prepared to be sore after this one. Also try jumping on soft surfaces like grass to make it easier on your bones and joints. Running parks are great places to do this activity, and your own home as well.

Interval training isn't for people who just started working out, but it is a very effective way to lose weight and get into shape quickly. Make sure that you are eating a well maintained diet and drinking plenty of water while you are interval training, so that you stay healthy and have enough energy.
