If the melodic line was lowered one more fret you would have an F+5 chord, but the amount of stretch required is sufficient that you may not want to add that into the progression. Again this chord format can be moved up and partially down the neck of the guitar. As you move this particular progression up the neck it is actually a little easier to finger because the frets are closer together down the neck. Internal chords with melodic voices provide a great way to hear the possibilities of ways that chords support and enhance melody. Practice this chord progression in a descending and ascending melodic direction.
