Review of the PetSmart in Bethlehem Georgia
With all the pet store chains out there it's good to know which locations are worthy of your patronage.
Let me first start by saying that first impressions are important and my first impression upon walking into the Bethlehem PetSmart location was a good one. The store appeared to be extremely sanitary, well organized and smelled clean. That's pretty good, especially for a store that allows you to bring your pets in and have them shop along with you. There were no pet "accidents" on the floor, as a matter a fact the floors were extremely well maintained.
I walked over to their fish section and this PetSmart location has a wide variety of fish for sale. The associate working in the fish department automatically greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I had to compliment him on the amount of fish they had in stock, the quality of those fish and the fact that everyone of their tanks was practically immaculate. I have been in many pet stores in my life and this one had by far the cleanest fish tanks and the healthiest looking fish for sale that I have ever seen.
I then walked over to their reptile section to have a look at what they had. Immediately I saw the baby beardies as I call them. That's the Bearded Dragon's, who in my opinion are one of the most wonderful reptiles to have as a pet. I've had two in my lifetime and they were extremely sociable and even affectionate, if you can believe it. All of their reptiles were well cared for, had ample food and water and all came up to the tank as if to say hi and can I come home with you. I had to walk away before I bought a snake or a new turtle.
Right next to the reptile section is their small animal section and all I can say is how adorable. I've always been a sucker for a cute little hamster or a squeaky little guinea pig. They have a large variety of different breeds of hamsters as well as dwarf hamsters. Their mice were so playful running in their wheels and their rats were being so inquisitive coming up to the tank looking or some attention too. They had some really cute gerbils and very pretty chinchillas. Every habitat looked as though it had just been cleaned and each section had what looked to be fresh food and water. Now that's what I like to see.
As I made my way to the cat section I saw that my kitties favorite brand of food "Science Diet" was on sale, as long as you had PetSmart's "Pet Perk's" card, which of course I do. So I grabbed their big bag of cat food and went over to the kitty toy's and picked them up a new bag of cat nip and strolled up the aisles to have a look at the rest of the store. Their dog section is huge. They have any and everything you can imagine for all different types and breeds of dogs, from food, to health care items, to toys and training tools. It's a canine lovers dream.
I have to say that this store is well stocked and maintained. It's extremely clean and pet friendly. I will continue to go to this location and they have secured my business going forward. Stop in the PetSmart in Bethlehem Georgia and have a look for yourself. You wont be sorry.
