Kate Gosselin's Workout Regimen: Exercise Video and Book Coming
Kate Gosselin's Workout Regimen: Exercise Video and Book Coming
I'm a certified personal trainer, and I know strength-trained arms and shoulders when I see them, especially on a woman who, just a few years ago, was pretty flabby up there: Kate Gosselin. In earlier episodes of Jon amp; Kate Plus 8, it's clear that Kate wasn't doing too much working out. Please don't say she got plenty of exercise taking care of eight kids. It obviously wasn't the right kind of exercise to tone and firm up her arms and shoulders.
Then suddenly, Kate Gosselin's shoulders started looking a bit more toned, not as soft as before. I then saw a photo of her giving a speech, and it was clear that she'd been doing some triceps workouts. And then there are those photos of Kate Gosselin in the orange, and also in the black, bikini. Those arms and shoulders are not the same ones she had a few years ago.
If Kate Gosselin wants to continue being able to market herself and build her money-making empire, she knows she has to look good, and that means working out. In fact, I'm going to predict it right now: Kate Gosselin wants to write a workout book and produce workout videos. But in order to have credibility, she has to work out and get a body that looks like she's been exercising. The book might be titled, "The Kate Gosselin Workout." And there will be exercise DVDs as well.
Or, it could be called, "The Fat-Burning Workout for Moms of Multiples." I guarantee it, the book would sell like hotcakes. Are there any other exercise books out there that target moms of multiples? I wouldn't put it past Kate Gosselin to make this her next book writing venture. MARK MY PREDICTION.
In order to get muscle definition, a woman needs to use at least moderately heavy weights or resistance, and must push herself to the point of muscle "burn." This is surely what Kate Gosselin has been doing, with her triceps and shoulders, and possibly the biceps, though I don't see a whole lot of biceps work going on. As for the particular exercise routines, there are many possibilities.
Kate Gosselin also works her abs. A tummy tuck will NOT create definition, and she has definition. Thus, we can't sit back and attribute Kate Gosselin's body to just the tummy tuck. All a tummy tuck does is remove excess skin. A tummy tuck does absolutely nothing for the muscles beneath the skin. She knows that if she were one of those fat mothers of multiples, it would work against her.
She probably figures, "They can criticize the way I treat Jon and the kids all they want, but they'll never be able to criticize my bod."
